My family means a great deal to me….so I want to share a few pictures that I took of Chris (4 years) and Laura (10 months). Laura was extremely cooperative, Chris….well…not so much. However I did manage to get a few good photos of them both.Â

Welcome! I'm William Hayes, a professional wedding photographer in the Toledo, Ohio area. I specialize in capturing a mix of relaxed portraits and great moments, all while keeping your wedding day fun and relaxed. Smiles, tears, joy, love . . . these are the wonderful emotions that weddings are all about, and why I LOVE wedding photography.
Both my personal and professional life are chronicled in this blog, and it features images from the weddings I photograph and the family and friends that are so important to me. My blog ends up being my personal photo album as well as a source of information for current and potential clients. Hopefully my blog will give you an idea of who I am and what my photography is all about. Thanks for stopping by!

Jim & Kristy were married at All Saints Church in Rossford, Ohio. Following the ceremony we went to the Art Museum as well as to the riverfront next to the Fifth Third Bank building (formerly the O-I building). Their reception was at the Toledo Civic Center (part of the Erie Street Market.) It was a great space with a beautiful fountain, and large dance floor. Here are a few pictures:
Megan & Nate’s wedding and reception took place at the Toledo Country Club here in Toledo. The main dining room was reset for the ceremony, then while the guests went to the sitting room for drinks and we went out side for photographs the staff quickly reset for dinner and dancing. While it was a bit cool (not unexpected in October), we were able to get many great photographs. Here are just a few:
In addition to wedding photography, I teach at a local high school as well. One of the seniors there asked me to shoot her senior photo’s. It was a great experience for me, as it made me think outside of the box…and is something I’d like to do more of in the future. Much of the session was photographed at Wildwood Metropark, but toward the end we went to a horse farm to get a few with her favorite friend. Here are a few from the session:
